Kelvin Davis is a retired American heavyweight boxer who was born on January 9, 1976, in Atlanta, Georgia. He started his boxing career in 1999 and had an impressive record of 24 wins, 17 of them by KO, and 10 losses. Davis fought some notable opponents throughout his career, including Chris Arreola, Samuel Peter, and Ruslan Chagaev.

One of the most significant fights in his career took place in 2003, when he faced-off against Monte Barrett for the vacant WBC Continental Americas heavyweight title. Though Davis put up a good fight, he lost the match in a unanimous decision. Another memorable bout was against the former world champion, Hasim Rahman, whom he faced in 2007. Despite a valiant effort, Davis lost in the seventh round of the fight.

Davis retired from professional boxing in 2014 with a record of 24-10 and briefly pursued a career in mixed martial arts (MMA). However, he never competed in an MMA match. He has since worked as a trainer, including training fellow boxer Lucian Bute, who won the IBF super-middleweight title in 2007.
